For the Americans

Important informations

To prepare for your surgery or your child’s surgery, it is important to schedule an appointment with us for a briefing on the anesthetic procedure. During this briefing, you will receive all relevant information regarding the anesthesia process, organizational procedures, as well as the necessary formalities and documents.
Dental surgeries for children up to the age of 5 are covered by Tricare insurance, and thereafter by United Concordia insurance. Tricare usually assumes the costs hasslefree.  All that is required is that you submit an application for the assumption of costs with the Tricare office.
Unfortunately, United Concordia does not recognize us as a direct provider, which is why they do not reimburse us for the anesthesia. Consequently, you are required to make a down-payment for the anesthesia on the day of surgery. We will inform you of the full amount at the anesthesia briefing.  You will receive an invoice and copies of the supporting documents by mail, approximately 2 weeks after the surgical procedure. You can then use these documents to apply for a reimbursement by your medical insurance.
If your child is insured with Tricare, please see the Tricare office as soon as possible and apply for anesthesia approval. Only after receipt of this approval we can guarantee that these costs will be covered by Tricare, and that you will not incur any costs.
Please bring your army ID to the anesthesia briefing, as well as the approval of your health insurance, should you already have it. You can find our anesthesia information sheet and questionnaire here.
Please feel free to print it, read it and bring the completed form with you to the meeting.
